     Pastor Jon Overson grew up in Bullhead City, AZ, where he gave his life to Jesus in 1975. He married Colleen in 1977 and later became the pastor of churches in Arizona and Georgia. 

 

     In 1990, the Oversons became missionaries to Uganda. Later, they pioneered two churches in South Africa: the first in East London and the second in Cape Town. The Oversons spent a total of 14 years in Africa before returning to the United States in 2004.

Here in Delaware County, Pastor Overson has labored to evangelize the lost, shepherd the congregation, and make disciples. Under his guidance, two couples from our congregation have pioneered churches of their own, in Reading, PA and Clayton, NC.

Pastor Jon and Colleen Overson have been blessed with two children and six grandchildren.
